Below are links to projects I designed as part of my UX/UI coursework - they are clickable prototypes of the sign-in and video search process for an app:

  • Mixchevious Clickable Prototype

    • For this app, the prototype displays the sign-in, navigation, and video search process for a fun mixology app.

  • Stir'd Clickable Prototype

    • This prototype is for a restaurant's mobile site. You are allowed to test the ordering process as well as some of the site navigation.

Events
Custom PepsiCo Event | 2022

As the Senior Manager of Marketing & Events at Washingtonian. I worked with the client to craft a custom event that showcased their initiatives local Black and Hispanic owned restaurants. I developed and drove the marketing strategy for the event and was responsible for tracking and reporting on specific KPI's. In collaboration with the marketing designer, I also established the branding for the event and worked to ensure that both Washingtonian and the client's brand standards were maintained. This event exceeded client expectations and we met our goals.

After the event I also wrote the post-event recap on our website and created a custom recap for the client sharing the analytics and overall campaign performance.

This event honored 4 local women making waves in journalism and also served as the kickoff event for White House Correspondents' Dinner weekend. I handled all logistics, sponsorship communication, decor, and speaker management.

Most Powerful Women | 2021

This event is held to celebrate Washingtonian's list of the region’s 150-plus most powerful women shaping things from the arts to medicine to the economy and was attended by nearly 200 guests. I worked with my team to manage and execute all event logistics including sponsorship outreach, guest list management, and vendor management.

Custom Event | 2021

As Senior Marketing & Events Manager at Washingtonian, this was one of the many events I managed and executed all event logistics for. It was a custom event with one of our partners. I curated the content creator list for the evening, planned the itinerary and secured vendors. Our partner wanted to highlight their entire campus and bring awareness to the location as a fun night out for resident of the DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas. This event was coupled with a social media strategy that resulted in over 50% boost in our social reach and engagement.

The Equality Lounge | 2020

I managed all logistics for the lounge including the outreach process, session scheduling, vendor/sponsor management, stage and room layout/design as well as coordinating and communicating speaker logistics. In 2019 I created a "living wall" that was displayed outside the room and increased social media engagement including a post from Author and Fashion Designer Nicky Hilton.

The Girls’ Lounge is hosted by The Female Quotient in partnership with the National Retail Federation to help women connect, collaborate and activate change together. The NRF program in 2019 was made possible by Episerver, Microsoft, and Resulticks. Speakers included executives from companies such as: Knix, Rocksbox, ULTA Beauty, Neiman Marcus, AUrate, J.Crew,  Brit + Co,  FULLBEAUTY Brands, Brandless, Glamsquad among others.

In 2020, The FQ Lounge was a destination that brought together women to connect, collaborate, learn, and activate change together. Attendees were able to have exclusive Q&As, access to networking areas and special experiences including free professional headshots. The 2020 FQ Lounge was given with love by Microsoft, Accenture, Avanade, and JDA.

The lounge had over 4,000 attendees over three days. Attendees heard panel discussions on topics ranging from mentorship to how to succeed in male-dominated industries. Value-added services included free professional headshots and a lip makeover.
